使用條款

Effective date: 25 October 2026. For accounts opened before that date, these Terms take effect on 24 November 2026.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

anime.club is operated by Anime.club LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87110, USA ("anime.club", "we", "us"). Anime.club LLC is wholly owned by Anime.club GK (Anime.club合同会社), a Japanese company in Fukuoka that runs the service on our behalf.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the anime.club website, apps and related services (the "Service"). They form a contract between you and Anime.club LLC. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. The guides at /docs explain how features, fees and payouts work; where a guide and these Terms conflict, these Terms win.

If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you may bind it, and "you" includes that organization.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under laws that cannot be waived by contract, including consumer laws where you live.

2. Accepting and changing these terms

You accept these Terms by creating an account, placing an order, opening a shop, or otherwise using the Service. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

We may change these Terms. For a material change we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the Service before it takes effect, except where a change is required by law or addresses a security or abuse risk, which may take effect sooner. A change does not apply to an order placed before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the changed Terms apply; if you do not agree, you may close your account. Earlier versions are available on request.

3. Who may use anime.club

You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter a binding contract, to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you are. We close accounts we learn belong to someone under 18.

Content marked 18+ is not listed, shown on pages or in search, sold or opened for comments to anyone except the creator who uploaded it. Before we show it to others, we will add the age checks the law requires where you live.

You may not use the Service if we have previously banned you, or if you are barred from receiving services under the laws of the United States or the country where you live, including sanctions laws.

4. Your account

You must give accurate information and keep it current. You sign in with a passkey or a connected account (Google, Apple, Facebook or X). You are responsible for keeping your devices and connected accounts secure, and for activity on your account that results from your failure to do so. Tell us at support@anime.club as soon as you suspect someone else has access.

One person, one account. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred, and group or team accounts are not supported. You may not create an account to get around a suspension or ban, or impersonate anyone.

5. How the marketplace works

5.1 anime.club is the seller of record

When you buy on anime.club, you buy from Anime.club LLC. The creator who made the work ("Seller") licenses it to anime.club, and anime.club sells it, or a licence to it, to you. anime.club is the merchant of record: we take your payment, issue the receipt, calculate and collect sales tax where we must, handle refunds and payment disputes, and pay the Seller their share. Sellers are our suppliers, not our agents or employees, and they do not sell to you directly.

The Seller still decides what they offer, writes the listing and the order terms, and does the work. Sellers are responsible for what they deliver; anime.club is responsible to you as the seller of record for the order.

5.2 Listings and order terms

Each listing shows its price, what is delivered, the delivery time, the number of revisions, whether commercial use is allowed, and the Seller's own order terms. When you place an order, the listing as it stood at that moment, including the Seller's order terms, is saved with your order and applies to it, even if the Seller edits the listing later.

The Seller's order terms may add to these Terms, for example by describing what is included or how revisions work. They may widen the buyer licence in section 6.4, or limit commercial use and redistribution, but cannot go below the personal-use licence in section 6.4. They cannot override these Terms, our policies, or rights you have by law. Where they conflict, these Terms win.

5.3 Commissions

A commission is work made to your request.

  1. At checkout your payment method is authorized, not charged.
  2. The Seller has 3 days to accept or decline. If they decline or do not answer, the order is cancelled and the authorization is released. You are not charged.
  3. When the Seller accepts, your payment is captured and the work starts.
  4. The Seller delivers by the delivery date shown on the order. The Seller may ask once to extend it; you may accept or decline.
  5. When the Seller submits the work, you have 5 days to approve it or open a dispute. If you do neither, the order completes automatically.

When the Seller accepts, we email you to confirm.

You may cancel a commission at no charge until the Seller accepts it. If the Seller misses the delivery date, contact support@anime.club and we will cancel the order and refund you in full.

Consumers in the EEA and UK may also withdraw from a commission within 14 days of acceptance, until the work is delivered, for a full refund, by emailing support@anime.club.

5.4 Downloadable products

A downloadable product is a file delivered right after payment. Your payment is captured at checkout. You have 5 days after purchase to report a problem with the files (section 7).

Consumers in the EEA and UK may withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days, for a full refund, by emailing support@anime.club.

5.5 Prices, fees and taxes

Prices are in US dollars. Where we must collect sales tax, VAT, GST or similar tax, checkout shows it before you pay. Your bank or card issuer may charge its own currency or foreign transaction fees.

6. Rights in content

6.1 You keep your rights

You keep the rights you hold in what you post or upload, such as artwork, listings, messages and files ("Your Content"). You must have every right needed to post it and, for Sellers, to license and deliver it.

6.2 What you allow anime.club to do

You give anime.club a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, display and transmit Your Content as needed to run the Service, including making thumbnails and compressed versions, scanning files for malware, indexing content for search, and showing your public content to other users. This licence lasts while Your Content is on the Service, plus the time needed to remove it from backups and caches, and continues for content that forms part of a completed order. To build search, we send the images of artwork and products to an AI model hosted for us on Microsoft Azure that turns them into search data; listing text is not sent, and the model is not trained on them. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to train generative AI models.

We may show your public content, credited to you, on anime.club and on our own social media accounts to promote the Service. We ask you first before using it in paid advertising. We never use 18+ content, or content showing a real person, this way. You can ask us to stop at support@anime.club; material already published stays up.

6.3 What a Seller grants anime.club

For each listing, the Seller grants anime.club a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to sell the listed work, or a licence to it, to buyers, and to grant each buyer the rights described in section 6.4. Copyright stays with the Seller unless the Seller's order terms clearly transfer it. The Seller promises that every listed and delivered work is their own human-made work and not made with generative AI (section 9).

6.4 What a buyer gets

When an order completes, anime.club grants you, through the licence the Seller gave us, a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use the delivered work:

  • for personal, non-commercial use: private display, a printed copy for yourself, and an avatar or profile picture on your own accounts, crediting the Seller where the place allows it; and
  • if the listing allows commercial use, for commercial use as well, within any limits in the Seller's order terms.

The Seller's order terms may widen this licence, or limit commercial use and redistribution, but cannot remove the personal use above. Unless they say otherwise, you may not resell or redistribute the files, claim the work as your own, or use it to train generative AI models. If an order is refunded or reversed, the licence for that order ends and you must delete the files.

7. Problems with an order, refunds and disputes

7.1 Opening a dispute

If a commission is not what was agreed, including work made with generative AI, you may open a dispute instead of approving it. If a downloadable's files are missing, corrupted or not as described, you may open a dispute within 5 days of purchase. Choose the reason that fits and describe the problem. A dispute opens a chat with the Seller and anime.club support.

The Seller may resolve a dispute by cancelling the order, which refunds you in full. Otherwise anime.club support reviews the order, the listing, the order terms and the chat, and decides to refund you in full or release payment to the Seller. We aim to decide within 10 days.

The 5-day window is our fast resolution. Consumers in the EEA and UK can also complain later that digital content or a commission is faulty or not as described, for as long as the law allows (in the EU, at least 2 years from delivery). Email support@anime.club; we will ask the Seller to fix or redo the work, and if that is not possible or fails, give a price reduction or a full refund.

7.2 Refunds

Support decides a dispute with a full refund of the order total, including tax, to your original payment method, or with release of payment to the Seller. Where the law gives you a price reduction instead, we give it on request. Outside the withdrawal rights in sections 5.3 and 5.4, refunds are not available because you changed your mind about a commission after the Seller accepted it, or after you approved the work. None of this limits remedies the law gives you when digital content or a service is faulty or not as described.

7.3 Card disputes and chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we can usually resolve problems faster. If you file a payment dispute that we find to be abusive, for example after downloading the files you paid for, we may suspend your account.

7.4 Reviews

You can rate and review an order after you approve a commission, or after a dispute about an order is decided in the Seller's favour. Other downloadable purchases, and orders that complete automatically, cannot be reviewed. Reviews must reflect your own experience; you cannot edit a review once posted.

8. Selling on anime.club

8.1 Becoming a Seller

To sell you must open a payout account from a supported country. Your country decides how you are verified and paid:

  • Stripe Connect countries: Stripe verifies you and holds and pays out your share through a Stripe connected account. You must accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
  • Other supported countries: Stripe Identity verifies your identity document and a selfie, after you agree to our Biometric Data Policy, and anime.club pays you through Wise from its own Wise account, to a bank account or Wise account in your name. The name on the payout account must match your verified name.

The current countries are listed at /docs/payments-fees. You must be at least 18, and you must give true information to Stripe and Wise.

8.2 Your obligations

You must describe each listing honestly, deliver what you listed, meet the delivery date, and follow your own order terms. You must not ask buyers to pay outside anime.club for work found on anime.club. You must only sell work you have the right to sell, and you must mark 18+ content.

8.3 Your share, fees and payouts

For each completed order you earn the order price minus the platform fee and the payment processing fee. Sellers paid by Stripe outside the US also pay an international payout cost. Sellers paid by Wise pay Wise's own transfer fee. Current rates are at /docs/payments-fees. The platform and payment processing fees in effect when a downloadable is bought, or when the Seller accepts a commission, apply to that order. The payout cost in effect when your money is transferred applies to that transfer. We give at least 30 days' notice before raising a fee, and you may close your shop before it takes effect.

Your share becomes available after the order completes: when a commission is approved, auto-completes or a dispute is decided in your favour, or 5 days after a downloadable's purchase. Payouts run weekly unless you turn them off, and you can also withdraw on request, subject to the minimum and schedule at /docs/payouts. If your balance stays below the minimum, or you turn automatic payouts off, it stays with us until you withdraw. When you close your account, or after 12 months without activity, you may ask support@anime.club to pay out a balance below the minimum. Your balance does not expire and we charge no inactivity fee. If you have not withdrawn or asked about your balance for 12 months and we cannot reach you, we report it to the New Mexico unclaimed property office, as New Mexico law requires, and email you first. You can then claim it from that office at no charge. Money already paid out to your Stripe account is held by Stripe, which follows its own unclaimed balance process.

8.4 Refunds, chargebacks and your balance

If an order is refunded, you do not receive your share, and the payment processing cost of the refunded order is charged to your balance. This includes refunds and price reductions we give under consumer law after your share was paid out, and EEA and UK withdrawals.

If a buyer's bank reverses a payment and the dispute is lost, you bear the reversed amount and the bank's dispute fee. We recover it first from that order's share if it has not been paid out, then from money we owe you, then by reversing the transfer to your Stripe account where possible, and then from your future earnings. While your balance is negative, your listings are hidden and you cannot sell until you repay it, which you can do by card from your payments page. A negative balance remains owed even if you close your account.

8.5 Taxes on your earnings

You are responsible for taxes on your earnings. Before paying you, we may need tax information from you, such as an IRS Form W-8BEN or W-9, and we may hold payouts until you provide it. Where the law requires us to withhold tax from a payment to you, we will withhold it and pay it to the tax authority.

9. Content and conduct rules

You may not use the Service to:

  • break the law or help someone else do so;
  • post content that sexualizes minors, including drawn or fictional characters who appear to be minors in sexual content;
  • harass, threaten or bully anyone, or promote hatred or violence against a group;
  • share someone's private information, or intimate images of anyone without their consent;
  • infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights, including uploading or selling someone else's work as your own;
  • impersonate a person or organization;
  • encourage self-harm or suicide;
  • sell prohibited items or services, or arrange payment outside anime.club for work found on anime.club;
  • spam, manipulate reviews, likes, follows or orders, or mislead buyers;
  • post or deliver work that generative AI created in whole or in part, including AI filters, image-to-image and AI upscaling of the image content (ordinary drawing tools such as brushes, fill, selection and colour adjustment are fine);
  • post content that is not art-related where art is expected; or
  • interfere with the Service, bypass its security or limits, scrape it, or access it by automated means without our written permission.

Content of a sexual or graphic nature must be marked 18+. The detailed rules are in our platform rules, mature content and generative AI policies.

10. Reports, moderation and enforcement

Anyone can report content they believe is illegal or breaks these Terms, using the report button on artwork and products, or by emailing support@anime.club for anything else, explaining where it is and why. We review every report promptly. Our moderators review reports; we do not make removal decisions by automation alone.

If we find that content breaks these Terms, we may hide it, limit it, or suspend your account. We will tell you why through a message from the official anime.club account, and you can ask for a review. You then have 72 hours to respond. If we restore it, it does not count against you. If we do not, the content is removed and counts as a strike. After 3 strikes, your account is banned and scheduled for deletion.

We may also suspend or close an account immediately, without strikes, for serious violations such as content sexualizing minors, fraud, threats, or a legal requirement. Where the law allows, we will tell you the reason. You may ask us to review any decision by replying in the moderation chat or, if your account is suspended, by writing to support@anime.club from your account email. Users in the EU may also go to a court, and users in the UK may complain to Ofcom. We report content that suggests a threat to someone's life or safety to the authorities.

If you believe content on anime.club infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent: Olzhas Alexandrov, Anime.club LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87110, USA, phone +1-469-422-3238, dmca@anime.club, with: your contact details; the work you own; the link to the content; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own or are authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We will remove or disable the content and tell the uploader. The uploader may send a counter-notice with their contact details, the removed content and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for their address (or any court where we may be found, if outside the US). We restore the content 10 to 14 business days later unless the complainant tells us they have sued. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.

12. Third-party services

Payments run on Stripe, Seller verification on Stripe Identity, and some payouts on Wise. Their own terms apply to the services they provide to you. Links to other sites are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for them.

13. Closing your account, suspension and termination

You may delete your account in your settings. Deletion takes place 7 days later, and you can cancel it before then. Deletion waits until your open orders are finished, any payouts in progress have completed, and any negative balance is repaid.

When your account is deleted, your profile, artwork, likes, follows and notifications are removed and your products are unpublished. Records of completed orders, payments and reviews, and messages you sent to others, are kept as explained in our Privacy Policy. Licences that buyers received for completed orders continue, and buyers keep access to the files they bought while we run the Service; keep your own copy. We may delete files of products nobody bought after the product or account is deleted.

We may suspend or close your account under section 10, or if we must stop providing the Service to you by law. If we stop the Service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and pay Sellers the shares they have earned.

Sections 6.2 to 6.4, 7, 8.4, 8.5 and 14 to 17 continue after your account ends.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. This does not limit our obligations to you as the seller of record for an order, or rights you have under consumer law.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, anime.club is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amounts you paid us, or we paid you, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or, for consumers in the EEA and UK, intentional acts or gross negligence.

For consumers in Japan, this section and section 14 apply instead as follows: the exclusions and the cap apply only to damage we cause through slight negligence (軽過失). If we cause damage intentionally or through gross negligence, we are fully liable.

16. Indemnity

If you use the Service for business purposes, you will defend and indemnify anime.club against third-party claims arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms, including claims that work you sold infringes someone's rights. This section does not apply to consumers where the law prohibits it.

17. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Courts in Bernalillo County, New Mexico have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and may bring a claim in your local courts. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in a small-claims court that has jurisdiction. Where the law allows, claims must be brought individually, not as a class. Before bringing a claim, please contact support@anime.club so we can try to resolve it.

18. General

These Terms, the policies they link to, and the order terms of each order are the whole agreement between you and anime.club about the Service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a part is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or to a successor of the business, with notice to you. We may send notices to the email on your account. If a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version wins, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
