Refunds and payment disputes

Dernière révision:

Refund rights are set out in sections 5 and 7 of the Terms of Use. This page explains how payments move.

A canceled, declined or expired authorization creates no charge. A captured order can reach completion or enter a dispute, where cancellation can request a full refund. The diagram shows implemented payment and order paths. It does not define refund eligibility or promise an outcome.

A commission that was not accepted

Commission checkout authorizes the amount. It does not create a charge until the seller accepts.

If the buyer cancels, the seller declines, or the order expires first, the authorization does not become a charge. This is not a refund because no payment was captured. The buyer's bank controls how long the released authorization remains visible.

A captured payment

A commission is captured when the seller accepts. A downloadable is captured at checkout.

A full refund is issued when a dispute ends in cancellation. Where consumer law gives a price reduction instead, support arranges it.

Asking for help with an order

Use Contact support from the order menu. Include the order number and a clear description of the issue.

A missed delivery date, an EEA or UK withdrawal, and a fault reported after the 5-day window all go through support. Support aims to decide a dispute within 10 days.

Bank chargebacks

A chargeback is opened through the buyer's bank or card issuer. That process is separate from anime.club's order-support flow and is decided under the payment provider's rules.
